Gone Fishin’
I’ve been in Utah for four days and so far I’ve done about one hour of writing and a whole lot of butt-kicking. None of you want to take me on in Phase 10. I’m sort of a rock star.
I did come up with a great analogy for showing vs. telling, but it has to wait for another blog post. My dad says the fish are biting and the kids are restless.

Camping and hiking and fishing and all the outdoor stuff sounds awesome. I haven’t heard of Phase 10 – is that a game? We love games in our family so I need to look that up!

All: It’s been a great trip so far! Just 27 more days to go. Yikes.
Kimberly: Phase 10 is sort of like gin, but you have to pass a specific series of runs/sets to move on. It requires a lot of luck and very little skill. 😉
Trisha: My dad and brother took the kids. I think that’s Strawberry Reservoir, but I’m not positive. They go there a lot or they hit the Provo river.
