Mental Meltdown
Even though I was already four thousand words behind, I had a to take a break from the writing world today. I folded laundry and watched everything on my DVR.
I feel better.
Have any of you treated yourself to something away from writing during this NaNoWriMo insanity? A movie? A nice dinner? Anything fun?

You betcha! Breaks free up the mind! Even tho I’m not doing NaNo, when I’m writing, I take a two minute break every 20 minutes. Just leave the room and let the eyes rest. You’re doing a lot of intense work. Treat yourself every now and then. And good luck with NaNo!

Ahhh, that sounds nice. Sometimes we just need to RELAX. This is especially hard when you’re also a mommy and the kids are hogging the tv.
