Where I Teleport
Have I told ya’ll lately that I love being a writer? Because I do! Sure, everyone has sucky days (writing and otherwise). But when I’m really immersed in a story I get to escape to places like:
The ruins of Tulum in near Cancun, Mexico
The Matthias Church, Budapest, Hungary.
Gorgeous vistas of Yorkshire, England.
I get to write scary scenes contrasted against the ocean’s hypnotic roll, and tense dialogue that is whispered in sacred places. And, of course, describe the way the rain tastes on a love interest’s lips.
Writing is awesome. Go enjoy it!

Amen, Becky. Just letting my mind wander about is half the joy for me.

I wish my characters took me to such fun and beautiful places. My always end up in some dank corner of hell 🙂
Great inspirational post, gave me the impetus to open up my WIP and get cracking.

I love seeing pics of distant places and wanting to write a scene into it. I’ve not made it across to Europe, but Yorkshire and Hungary would really appeal to me!
And I haven’t been to the Yucatan either, but I’m familiar with the view of that place….

Lovely pics! The ruins of Tulum look amazing! I’d love to visit Hungary too. As you know, I visited Yorkshire only recently and the countryside really is as beautiful as in your picture. Happy writing. Nice to see you are as inspired by place as I am Becky x
