Copyediting Services
When your manuscript is complete, I will literally dot every “I” and cross every “T.” I’ll also:
- Correct grammar, spelling, syntax, and technical mistakes
- Identify any continuity errors and make sure all loose ends are tied
- Adjust sentence length for rhythm and digestibility
- Pinpoint shifts in tone or style
- Provide a complete style guide with citations from the Chicago Manual of Style, a character list, and a list of words not found in Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary

- When your manuscript is ready for the world, it’s time for one last edit to check for mistakes.
- I’ll correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, omitted words, repeated words, spacing and format, and typographical errors.
- I’ll also provide a character list and list of words not found in Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary so that your spelling will be consistent throughout this manuscript and any associated novels.
The Complete Editing Package
This package includes developmental edits, copy edits, and proofreading before your manuscript is ready to print. You’ll receive:
- One round of in-depth edits with track changes, comments, and copy edits throughout
- Two hours of brainstorming/feedback to be used at your discretion
- One round of proofreading after the developmental edit and copyediting notes are incorporated
